Feeling Stressed?

It’s Monday … Already! Are you feeling anxious? Are you stressed out? Many of us suffer from

episodic acute stress on Mondays. I think it’s because we have such high expectations to get so much done on the first day of our work week. Peradventure we procrastinated doing our workload last week that we have to play catch-up this week.

In Philippians 4, Paul encourages us to not worry, instead pray and ask God for everything we need.

6 Do not worry about anything. But pray and ask God for everything you need. And when you pray, always give thanks. 7 And God’s peace will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. The peace that God gives is so great that we cannot understand it.
