We are honored and grateful that our women’s ministry turns 16 years old this year!
As women, we are often challenged with the pressures of daily life and the struggles that come with it. But at Martha & Mary Ministries, Walking in Freedom! ™ (M3), our mission is to uplift and empower women to reach their God-given potential. Our devotion to Christ drives us to support those who are hurting and to help every woman discover her inherent value and worth.
Our women's devotional ministry offers many opportunities for spiritual and personal growth. We provide a variety of programs and events that promote self-worth and enrichment, including workshops, retreats, training seminars, prayer breakfasts, and community outreach. Our focus is on sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and encouraging women to develop a deeper relationship with the Savior.
We are honored and grateful that our women’s ministry is turning 16 years old! Look at God! For 16 years, M3 has been a source of encouragement, empowerment, and impact in the lives of countless women who seek to deepen their relationship with Christ. As we move forward into a new year, our mission remains steadfast: to be a vessel for God's work in the lives of women, where they are inspired to embrace the love of Jesus Christ, see themselves as He sees them, and walk in freedom trusting God.
M3, led by Pastor Rhovonda Brown the founder and executive director, has been a women's devotional ministry for nearly two decades. Martha & Mary Ministries, Walking in Freedom! ™ is based in Houston, Texas, but encourage and empower women all over the world through our online presence.

Encourage. Empower. Impact
We are driven by our passion to encourage the hurting and a desire to see every woman come into the full knowledge of her true worth and potential, which can only be found in our Savior, Jesus Christ.
The Apostle John writes, "Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit." (3 John. 1:2 NLT). He also records in the Gospel, "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." and "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." (John 8:32,36 NIV). These are our foundational scriptures for M3, and these are our prayers.
So as we embark on another season, chapter, and year (M3 turns 11 years old in August), we want to continue encouraging you. Our prayer is that you will apply every Word of God to your life and that you will live a life that is free in Jesus. Free indeed!
1. We gather to encourage and remind one another who we are in Christ and how much He loves us. (Psalm 139; Philippians 4:4-9; John 3:16)
2. We gather to empower one another with the Word of God and His promises. (Psalm 119 and 91; Hebrews 4:12). We share testimonies from women who may have experienced similar challenges but made it to empower others to trust God. (Revelation 12; Jeremiah 29:11; Proverbs 3:5-8)
3. We gather to share tools, strategies, tips, and principles that are Bible-based for motivating one another to impact those around us. (Ephesians 6:10-20; Matthew 28:18-20)
Be encouraged to keep your eyes on God as He continues to bless you with His amazing grace and love.
