Business Discussion

We are driven by our passion to encourage the hurting and a desire to see every woman come into the full knowledge of her true worth and potential, which can only be found in our Savior, Jesus Christ. Connect with our women ministry on social media for inspirational posts throughout the week.

Encourage. Empower. Impact

We are driven by our passion to encourage the hurting and a desire to see every woman come into the full knowledge of her true worth and potential, which can only be found in our Savior, Jesus Christ.

The Apostle John writes, "Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit." (3 John. 1:2 NLT). He also records in the Gospel, "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." and "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." (John 8:32,36 NIV). These are our foundational scriptures for M3, and these are our prayers.

So as we embark on another season, chapter, and year (M3 turns 11 years old in August), we want to continue encouraging you. Our prayer is that you will apply every Word of God to your life and that you will live a life that is free in Jesus. Free indeed!

1. We gather to encourage and remind one another who we are in Christ and how much He loves us. (Psalm 139; Philippians 4:4-9; John 3:16)

2. We gather to empower one another with the Word of God and His promises. (Psalm 119 and 91; Hebrews 4:12). We share testimonies from women who may have experienced similar challenges but made it to empower others to trust God. (Revelation 12; Jeremiah 29:11; Proverbs 3:5-8)

3. We gather to share tools, strategies, tips, and principles that are Bible-based for motivating one another to impact those around us. (Ephesians 6:10-20; Matthew 28:18-20)

Be encouraged to keep your eyes on God as He continues to bless you with His amazing grace and love.

Let's walk in freedom together!

Your sis,

Meet our Workshop Worship Leader & Speakers

Deshundra Ellis

Workshop Worship Leader

I grew up in West Columbia, TX where I still reside with my mother Bessie Edwards. Born on December 25, 1988, I am the only surveying child of my parents. At the age of 11, I lost my father to a heart attack. I felt defeated, lost, and left alone, but my grieving was not in vain. God had a plan for my life.

God called me to be a vessel for him through the ministry of dance. Praise Dancing is what I like to call my sanity. It keeps me rooted in Christ and his presence is my favorite place. Through the ministry, God has allowed me to encourage and witness to others near and far. Over 100,000 people across the world have had the opportunity through social media to view and be encouraged by one of my favorites,  Break Every Chain. I believe that if it comes from the heart, it touches the heart of people. In 2017 I accepted my calling into ministry as a praise and worship leader. I find so much joy in leading God’s people into his presence and setting an atmosphere of worship.

I am a member of Open Door Community Church in Houston, TX. I am a part of the praise and worship, dance, children, and music ministries. I am a graduate of Alvin Community College where I earned a certification in Child Development and Early Childhood. In 2019 I received my bachelor’s degree of education in Child Development from Concordia University, St Paul. I am an employee of Fort Bend ISD at Hunters Glen Early Literacy Center. I am engaged to my fiancé Rev. Adrian Phillips.

I know that I am the daughter of the King. I was created not to fit in, but to be set apart.  My goal is to please my heavenly father and do what he has called me to do.

“I am fearfully and wonderfully made” Psalm 139:14

Josaulyn earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Science from the College of Biblical Studies.  The latter degree was earned out of a deep desire to truly handle the word of God effectively and to teach others.   She says that she doesn’t profess to know everything, but she knows a God whose Holy Spirit can teach you all that you need to know.

Min. Lillie Johnson

Worship Leader

Minister Lillie Johnson retired from the beauty profession that she enjoyed for forty-two years.  Following her retirement, God called Minister Lillie Johnson into a new season of life - full-time service in ministry at Open Doors Community Church in Houston, Texas.   She serves under the leadership of senior Pastor Felton R Joseph.  While she smiles at the future (Proverbs 31: 25) this season of ministry brings feelings of excitement, anxiety, uncertainty, and a hopeful expectation that God will continue to do great and new things in her life. Must of all, Isaiah 43: 18-21, gives her the courage to embrace the calling on her life and to walk freely with the confidence that God is in control.

Isaiah 43:18-21

"Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. The beast of the field will honor Me, the jackals and the ostriches, because I give waters in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to My people, My chosen. This person I have formed for Myself; They shall declare My praise."

Today Minister Lillie uses her spiritual gifts to lead the women’s ministry at her church.   In addition to her discipleship of these women, she devotes her time to God’s Good Girlz Ministry, which she started ten years ago.  She soon will be publishing a workbook for use in women’s bible study groups.

Lastly, Minister Johnson’s hobby and love of beetroot juice have developed into a unique fitness and wellness business called Mint To Be Healthy Company. We must take care of our bodies to be able to do God’s work while it is still day.

Romans 12:1

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Minister Johnson looks forward to sharing and encouraging the attendees of the Walking in Freedom! Workshop, Embrace Who You Are.

Scripture:2 Peter 2:9-10
