Since I’m counting down the days until this BIG EVENT, each day I’ll send you an excerpt from my devotional book, Walking in Freedom!. So here’s today’s excerpt.
DAY ONE: New Life As I prepared dinner for my family yesterday, I looked out the kitchen window and noticed spring. Officially, spring wouldn’t be here until a couple of weeks, but outside I saw beautiful colors beginning to form on the flowers and trees. I could see glimpses of spring already. I love the springtime. Spring is one of my favorite seasons of the year because the weather changes, the days are longer, and there’s newness in the air. Not only that, I enjoy this season because I celebrate the day I came to be, my birthday. To me, spring means new: new life, new beginnings, new creation, new birth, and new everything.
