Today is my sweetheart’s birthday!! God has blessed me with an amazing husband! I am definitely blessed, y’all. Let me tell you a secret that’s not really a secret. Don’t go searching for your knight in shining armor. Let him find you! And when God says it’s time, it will happen. Not any earlier or later but right on time.
I’m extremely grateful to have and continue to experience the kind of love from a man to a woman that is trustworthy, sacrificial, consistent, passionate, and exciting. Each day, my soulmate makes sure I know that I am loved. Whether it’s a sweet endearing kiss, a strong loving hug, cooking a delicious meal, whispering in my ear, “I love you”, or tucking me in the bed at night, daily I’m showered with faithful love from my king and King. And these are just a small portion of the overwhelming ways my soulmate shows me that he cares and loves me. He thinks about me even when I’m not thinking about myself. Wow!! It can’t get any better than this. If it does, my head may explode!
Do we have intense moments of fellowship? Of course. I’m happy to tell you that we do. We are two different people and we have learned to accept those differences. This is why those moments NEVER supersedes our love for one another. They never take precedence over what is most important: our love, our marriage, our God. We choose to forgive, listen, understand, and love one another no matter what. Besides, eventually, my sweetheart says or does something that makes me laugh (even when I don’t want to).

Ok, I went on and on. Anyway, today is my hubby’s special day to be showered on with lots of love. A special day that he was created —by God —to be my husband, my soulmate, my best friend, the father of my offspring, the provider of this house, the king of this castle, my knight in shining armor, and so much more! Today, is the love of my life’s birthday!
