Hi there! I am Rhovonda, and I will be hosting my 2ndThe Power of Journaling Class. This time we'll be focusing on controlling our emotions and managing our stress. Did you know that there is a simple strategy we can do to take captive our negative emotions and stresses? Journaling is an easy and effective way to control our emotions and manage stress.

I genuinely believe that there’s power in writing. We are so much better when we write about how we're feeling, especially when we are stressed and having an emotional hiccup. Through journaling, we can release all destructive emotions and stresses that have us on a roller coaster. Our writing allows us to express how we feel on the inside, be honest and transparent, and we are able to hear our own voices. More importantly, we can hear the voice of the Lord.

During my quiet time and my journaling, I can hear God’s instructions clearly. I can receive His comfort, and gain clarity and the peace I need for walking the Christian journey. So can you.

Did you know that there are health benefits of journaling? During this class, we will discuss some of those benefits, learn how to use journaling to control our emotions and how to manage stress. And of course, journal.

We will use Rhovonda’s award-winning book, Walking in Freedom!: A Thirty-Day Devotional Journey for Women, and the Bible for journaling writing prompts. Not only that, but our journaling will empower us to control our emotions, manage stress, give glory to God, and live a free and victorious life.

Journal or a notebook

Pen, pencil, crayons, markers, (anything you enjoy using for writing)

Bible
